I just have to say........We have only had the puppy for a short time, but he seems to be the most perfect dog for us!! He came in and immediately went potty on his pad, checked out the house, chased my son around which made him laugh hysterically, and then cuddled with him non-stop. All that I have to do is put the puppy in his lap and he will stay there with him and not leave. I have never seen a puppy so conent with a young child like that.........My son is in love and so am I!!! He just said........I am so happy that you bought a real puppy!

Hi Donna,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to send you a few pictures of Haru along with some updates. Haru's been adapting well with his new family. He's doing great with potty training. We've been using the training pad but come summer we'll start taking him outside. He's so smart and very quick to learn new tricks/commands. Yesterday we took him to the groomer for his first haircut. He did so well we got him a new shirt and a chew toy. He is such a joy and always makes us laugh by just the little things he does. We call him our snuggle bug because he loves to snuggle and be around us all the time.
I hope you enjoy the pictures! And thank you again for doing such a great job getting your puppies ready for their forever homes.
Regards, Jun, Maria, Joelle and Haru

After I made my decision to purchase a Bichon I went on the Internet to see if I could find a breeder. I could not believe what a maze was out there, and after talking to a few I felt like I couldn't trust anyone and then Donna came along. I don't know what led me to her, just luck I guess but from the moment we first talked I knew I had met someone who really cared. During the time from the birth of my baby until I received her, Donna was wonderful. She e-mailed me all the time and the best thing was all the pictures she sent. I got to see my Makayla's development all along the way, from birth to her 8-week birthday. When she arrived I would have known that sweet little face anywhere. Donna was a blessing and so was the wonderful little girl she paired me with. Makayla means gift from God and that is what my doggie and Donna are. I can't recommend her highly enough. As a breeder her dogs are beautiful, happy, well adjusted and socialized. She obviously treats them very well and cares for them like members of her family, which of course they are. I couldn't be any happier than I am. If I am ever in a position to get another Bichon and I hope one day I will be, I will go right back to Donna. I took my little girl to the groomer and her business is mostly show dogs and even she was impressed with Makayla. She said her conformation and coat were beautiful and she also has a terrific disposition. I could go on forever about the quality of Donna's dogs and the quality of her character. You will never find a nicer person or a better breeder. Make sure you call her before you commit to anyone else.

Donna,
I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was great, especially since we now have Makayla to share it with. I have asked my husband to send you some Christmas pictures of her so you see her in her little Santa dress. She also went to see Santa and was a very good girl. She got lots for Christmas. I can't even begin to tell you how much Makayla has brought to our lives this past year. She is a little Angel, well sometimes a fallen angel. She is so spoiled thanks to my husband, but everything she does is so funny and cute you just can't get mad at her. Needless to say she is running the house. I have had many dogs but I have never had one so loving and kind and just happy to be with you. We love to watch her do the buzz but wonder why she doesn't hurt herself. She is very enthusiastic. I know I don't have to explain to you about the joys of owning a Bichon but I wish I could explain it to everyone considering buying a dog. They are one of a kind and the sweetest baby ever. I hope you sell lots of them this year so others can feel the joy I do when I go to bed with my baby each night. She is a little bundle of joy not to mention the perfect size. Small, but sturdy. Thanks again and have a wonderful year.

If you don't get any pictures in a few days, please let me know. You just must see my child.

Hi Donna,
Here are some recent pictures of Brady right after his grooming this past Saturday. The whole family loves him so much!! He has been a wonderful addition to our family. I wish I could be a stay at home MOM to be with him all the time. He is so loving and playful. He is so good! Thanks to you Donna for doing an "AWESOME" job raising the Bichon Frise. I would love to have 2 of them!! I will see if I can talk my husband into it!!!
Take Care and we still have fun looking at your Website!!

Hi Donna,
I hope you are doing well and all is well with your pups and dogs! I just wanted to send you an update about Daisy. She is doing fabulous and is a wonderful dog! I just had her spayed on Friday so she is still recovering of course however I took her for a brief check up yesterday and the vet said her incision is healing great. She also had all of her final shots in April and is scheduled to be professionally groomed soon. I do a lot of brushing daily and bathing every other week. She's still a momma's gal (which I do not mind!) but has made up quite nicely with my husband Tony. They are wonderful playmates, lol Last week we took her the Bark in the Park at the Power baseball game. She doesn't get to socialize much with other 4 paws but after about a half hour she really warmed up and enjoyed herself. I also took her to see my grandmother who lives in Huntington in a nursing home and has advanced Alzheimer's. Although Granny was not responsive that day a lot of the other residents were and they LOVED her! So now I'm thinking about trying to take her more often and to other nursing homes here locally. The reaction to her from the residents and workers at the nursing home was so wonderful as she freely gives her love and affection and licks. I'm also hoping to take her to the Bichon Bash later this summer. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family and yes is a little spoiled but really she is wonderful and well behaved. I guess I'm a little bias. :)
Hope to hear back from you.
Take care,
Kim
Dear Birth Mothers Donna and Darla:
We had a wonderful drive home. My new mom had a soft-crate for me buckled in with the seatbelt for safety. She put my toy in there and I slept the whole way home! It also had a little fold-down window so that I could look out and make sure she was there when I wanted to.
When we finally got home to my new house, my new mom let me run in the yard -- I was ready to get out of the car and it is such a beautiful day that I played and played and played! I met the neighbors, who think I'm beautiful and told me I could come over to their yard any time I want to.
My dad also came right home...I really liked him! I think we have already bonded.
Then we went inside, my mom got me some water and food right away, but I was so excited all I did was have a drink. I explored the whole house...sniffing everything! I also got a new collar--it's light blue! Then we decided we were tired from our big trip and mom let me get in bed with her...we took an hour nap and I didn't cry or fuss. I fell right to sleep.
When we got up, I was hungry...so I ate some food, ran around the house - I even decided to chase my tail a little bit!!! I think that means I like it here!
After playing around I pooped [Mom, picked me up when she saw me doing that and ran me outside...not sure what she was doing, but it was fun!].
All in all everything is going great...I am exploring and loving my new life!
Thank you so much for being my birth-moms and taking such good care of me so that I am happy and healthy!
Love, Oliver
How are you? Just a quick update and picture of our sweet Ozzy!
Ozzy is such a joy! We absolutely love him!
He's very affectionate, sweet and lots of fun!
We just came back from a long weekend,,,and we had to board Ozzy at the same place we boarded Buddy if we could not find a neighbor to help. The place is called "Paws in Paradise"...a vacation place for dogs to go when their owners are away. Its a great place.
When I called after the first night to check up on Ozzy....we were given glowing comments about our little guy! "So sweet, adorable and extremely social". They said he loved all of the dogs, and had the most fun of any of them!
When we picked him up yesterday...they said he was the best dog, out of any they can remember. They begged us to bring him back for visits. The girl there got so attached to him in 3 days. She said she would put him on her lap when she had to watch the front office....he would climb on her desk and fall asleep by her computer. She absolutely adores Ozzy!
Friends, neighbors, our groomer, our boarder and our vet....all love our Ozzy.
They all say Ozzy is sooooo...sweet!!! Of course, we have to agree!!!
Thanks again for our little, white, fluffy, bundle of joy!
I can't begin to tell you how much we love this pup!!!
Hope all is well with you, and Happy 4th of July!
Regards,
Kathy
p.s. Ozzy's picture was taken a little over a week ago. Enjoy! He is so adorable.
I received my little baby bichon who we call little Miss Molly, from this wonderful breeder. Donna is a very honest breeder and really cares about her puppies. Molly was well socialized and very sweet. Donna made me feel comfortable the very first time I spoke to her. I knew right off she was honest and trust worthy. We have kept in contact through emails and telephone. Any questions I may have she's always been there to answer them for me. I would recomend her very highly as a breeder . You could'nt ask for a better person to be getting a bichon from. Her puppies are very high quality and are very loved from the start. You will indeed be getting a pre loved bichon.I plan to do buisness with Donna again in the near future. She's a wonderful person who helped bring a wonderful joy into my home and her name is Molly. Thank you so much Donna for my sweet baby. And for all your help.

Donna is a wonderful, knowledgeable, breeder. I have never been so impressed coming into contact with someone over the email/phone than I have Donna. She answered all the questions I had regarding her pups and offered wonderful insights and references into how to make the transition of her adorable puppies to my door a smooth one. So many people that advertise their pups don't extend themselves in answering questions or offering suggestions about puppy care, temperment, or anything of the sort. Donna treats her puppies meticiously and gives them such loving personalities through her consistent care and love. I was most impressed how Donna treated me. She not only cares about her adorable puppies but she cares about the people she comes into contact with, too. Donna is helpful from the beginning of your questions to your end decision. This is exactly the type of breeder that everybody is searching for and is so hard to find!!! Keep up the GREAT work, Donna!

Franky
Hi :) Here are a few cute pictures. Franky has been a huge joy for everyone. He's been making us laugh since the night he got home with his hyper self! It's amazing how fast he learns things. He's so smart. We've even had people offer to take him off our hands if we didn't want him anymore! That would never happen but we're not surprised since he's so ADORABLE. I don't remember the last time my mom has been as happy as she is with Franky. He's her new baby. I started looking for a bichon frise because my mom had been longing for one and finding you was a blessing. Thanks so much for raising our perfect puppy.

Charlie
My experience with Donna has been amazing. From initial contact, to answering questions after I got Charlie, she has been quick and helpful. Charlie has been a blessing to our family. He is a gentle, sweet, loving puppy who loves playing with us and our older golden retriever. Charlie has really helped our 11 year old golden retriever stay active. Charlie is 5 months old and only has about one potty accident a week now. He graduated from puppy school and has basic commands down. He's such a cutie pie. We adore him! I hope to train him as a therapy dog when gets older, so he can come to the nursing homes I work at. Getting Charlie was one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Sincerely,
Karen Cuthbertson
Coco
Hi Donna, I just wanted to reach our and touch base now that baby Coco is 3 months old and has been with us for a month now. We could not love her more…and she has adjusted so well! We moved her straight away to pottying outside and she has done very well. She has an occasional accident, but its more the case of us not paying close enough attention rather than her being naughty. She is so very smart! When we have her in the family room she can ring a little bell signaling to us that she wants out. She couldn’t be more loving and playful. She’s had a few puppy play-dates and has really held her own considering how small she is. She’s very confident and not the least bit afraid of other dogs or people. Our vet noted that she’s obviously a well-bread puppy given that she has made all the appropriate adjustments. Can you please tell me how big her mom and dad are? Her vet would like to know and include it in her file. I’ve attached a few pictures that remind me of how very quickly she’s growing! We love her so much and are very grateful that you are so dedicated to excellence in breeding! Fondly, Andrea |
Maggie
Hello,
Just wanted to give you an update on the pink puppy. Her name is now Maggie. She is doing great. Her potty training is going well. She has started puppy class. She is getting along well with her brother (Rascal, a cat). She also does very well with my niece and nephew. She loves to play fetch and go for car rides. Her vet check ups are going good as well. Here are a few pictures of her... |
Dear Gracie and Spencer !!
All your little ones are now 3 months old as of today..... April 18....
By the looks of things seems all the people owners of your brood are totally and completely happy with such a good job you both did !!!
They are adorable, smart and so handsome !!!.. and I am sure Trudy is just beautiful. I named one of your little boys " Luca " which is Italian for light as he is now the " light " of my life.
Keep up the good work should you both decide to have another little family of baby bichons down the road.....!!!
Hope the remainder of your day is a good one. ....🐩
Best regards,
Joanne ( aka Luca's mommy )
Dear Gracie ( Mommy ), Spencer ( Daddy ) and Donna,
Well, I turn 4 months old today. I had a great visit with my vet today and she said, again !, I am so cute. Best of all she thinks I am very social. Wait till the other female Bichons I meet someday find that out !!! Wow... what a combination.. cute and social!! Anyway, I am up to 7.3 lbs. I had my ears cleaned out, my shots and everything else looks good. I love my vet and she really takes good care of me. But best of all I love my human mommy so much. She really does love me and tells everybody who asks about me how smart I am. I am up to at least 5-6 human words I totally get !!! They are sit, stay, treat, "get your mouse ", Ryan and outside. I plan to learn more as my mommy teaches me. She is a retired teacher so I am in good hands as far as that is concerned. Gee, maybe I will learn more words, run for public office and talk all day long !! I am going to send a picture to my breeder, Donna, as to how I am growing. Say hello to my sister, Trudy, for me. I miss her !!! Know, too, mommy and daddy, I will never forget you. You were great parents and did such a wonderful job of having some great puppies.. of course,..... I am the smartest and cutest.... at least that is what I am told. Take care and many puppy kisses forever..😘 LUCA â¤🐩 |
Morning Ms. Donna,
I'm being a VERY GOOD BOY!!
You would be proud of me!
I still love my WVA family, but I love my new mommy & daddy too! I'm so blessed 💕

Dear Donna,
I just wanted to say that little Ollie is really a dream Bichon! I will never forget coming to your home to pick him up. I was so scared because he was a tiny little guy, and reality hit me that he was still such a baby. But within the three weeks that I have had him, he is already growing up so fast. He can now respond properly to commands: sit, heel, come, and down (sometimes). I am really excited about his ability to heel. He looks like a show dog the way he is so attentive to me. His trainer saw him the first day and said he was a little genius, so I’m a very proud mama! He just finished teething and already has begun to stop nipping at fingers and toes. He understands when I say “No” to most things and backs away without any puppy backtalk. Also, he is always happy to meet new people (incl children) and new dogs/cats. He even made a friend with a boxer and a Westie terrier! We threw a welcome home party for him this past weekend. And this is the picture of him. He is over 4 pounds now. I already love him so much. I can’t believe how well-adjusted he is. It must be due to your awesome upbringing of the little guy. Thank you so much!
-JO

Hi Donna 👋,
"I missed my loving Beckley, WV - you, my birth parents (Hope & Spencer), and, oh yeah, those brothers, too. But I love my new mommy and Grandma here in Cross Lanes. I am trying my best to be a really good girl! I am eating, growing, sleeping well. I love playing a lot with my toys - got a few of Snowball's (previous Bichon) toys but grandma and mommy bought lots of new toys. I also love to run my blitz (or they call it "hot-rod") and lots of cuddling. One day mom forgot put up the gate at stairs... guess what?....I can go up and down the stairs! Mom was so surprised to see me - she had to teach Snow how to do that, not me - taught myself! You would be proud of my accomplishments."
Love 💖, Flossy 🐾

Hi Donna,
I hope this finds you and your family doing well. I wanted to share a updated pic of our sweet girls, Charley & Kate. They recently celebrated their 5th birthday. They are best friends, happy and healthy! We love them so much and can't imagine life without them. Always playful and affectionate, they love rides in the car and to tunnel under soft fleece blankets. Our Vet is always amazed at their perfect skin, coat and ideal body weights. They have always been free feeding but never over weight. Charley weighs 13 pounds and Kate weighs 11 pounds. They are perfect little girls!

Donna,
It has been a long time, so I thought you might like to hear about Pippin and Mario, and see some photos. They are due a haircut!! Pippin is 7 years old now, and so sweet. Mario is 4 and super lovable. He is my little stinker! He’s so funny and full of personality. They both love everyone they meet and make people happy wherever they go. And we have been ALL over the country with them. People have stopped to ask if they could take their pictures or if they could get their pictures with the puppies. They are a joy and I can’t imagine life without them. They are joined at the hip too and one can’t be without the other. Really, with Bichons, you can’t have just one! ❤️❤️ I see you are still having babies. Good for you! You are the best and we are so blessed by the babies we got from you.
Best to you and all the Puppies!
